Panini's were delicious! Polite service. Quaint.

This was a great to stop and have a cappuccino. Been walking around a lot and needed to sit down. I did not take the time to review but I really liked the coffee

Small cafe with freshly made sandwiches and the best gelato!!

They got really busy and service was a little bit rough, but we love this place and go there every time we go to St. Augustine.

Reasonable bite, relaxed service (i.e. not fast) won't change your life, but a tasty meal. $25 for two.

I had a panini experience like no other. The food was simply amazing.

The Americano was light, even after asking and paying to add another shot of espresso. Music was a little too loud for a cafe. Atmosphere nice and location convenient.

Very relaxed atmosphere with great servers. If your in s hurry it may not be for you. The food takes a few minutes and it's best that way as it was cooked perfectly and tasted even better. I suggest the grilled panini sandwich!!!

Hidden gem out in the open, don't miss this. Great sandwiches and salads, and the gelato is sooo good (the best!). A little expensive, but 100% worth it.

I love their gelato. I also tried a few other flavors and there is many options to choose from. This place never disappoint

We had a turkey panini (love apple slices in a panini)and a the Hidalgo salad. Both were very good and delivered by the Chef. Will definitely be back, I would like to try the meatball panini next.

We got a great lunch there. Restaurant is clean, room is really pleasant decorated with french posters (i noticed.. i am french) and food is simple but very tasty. Will Come back next Time i will be in St Augustine

Best gelato we’ve had here in the states! Especially the Wasabi Ginger Chocolate - wow! The owner is very friendly and you can tell he has a lot of passion in what he does. Highly recommend!!

Used to be great, but now it’s downright incredible ever since the new ownership by an Italian gelato making family. All the flavors were delizioso, but fav is the black sesame gelato. I wish I lived next door so I could come here daily.

Had a very tasty AFFOGATO this morning! Va bene! I was served by a very nice lady, my treat was perfectly made and delicious! The pleasant owner and I exchanged brief greetings. I will go there each time we visit. Easy!

Amazing place for gelatos and cafe. Right inside St George St in downtown St Augustine, FL. Great place to take a break after a long walk. Very relaxing place and decorative. Ordered a Stracciatella gelato in a small cup and mint gelato in a small cup. Decent price for a small cup but amazing gelato. I would definitely go for a bigger cup next time I come back (tomorrow since I will be here for a week).

Cozy and quaint little cafe. We went for decadent gelato but found they also offer paninis, coffees, and more. As we looked around, we could see everyone relaxing and enjoying their sweet afternoon pick me up! They have an excellent variety in the display cabinet to tempt most!

Stopped in for coffee before calling it a night. Coffee was fine but time to order some new dish ware.

Decided to give this cafe a try today for lunch. So glad I did. I will definitely be going back. The panini sandwich was delicious. Good food for a reasonable price. Not to mention, nice ambiance in the cafe and friendly staff.

Great Paninis and the chips and pickles were enough to share. Too bad no fountain drinks.

Great place in the heart of St Augustine. They have good food but the gem is the Ice cream. After being in Italy more than once and trying every gelato I can get my hands on, I can assure you this Cafe has THE best ice cream and true gelato you will find in town (and I live here). They take the time to do the ice cream from scratch on a daily basis and it’s all natural. You can literally taste the difference, just try it.

I always bring my family here a few times a year, wish we lived closer. The Absolute best Gelato in Florida!! Polite service and they also have pretty good paninis and salads, we highly recommend a visit with the fam.

Great gelato, mint is really good, met the owner really nice, he told us he uses very old recipes, his family has been in the business for generations.

I didn't know what to expect here. The food was really good and reasonably priced. I ate outside and felt like I went back in time. Can't wait to go back

Cool place good food. Great bread on the cuban but very little shredded pork and a couple slices of ham.

We only sat at the bar but it's a nice restaurant and the white sangria's are all awesome! Our bartender was so nice and a great sangria maker!!

Great place to get out f the heat at with some cool gelato or some fancy coffee.

All I can say is, WOW!! If you are ever in the St. Augustine area, you NEED to make a special trip to Cafe Del Hidalgo. The owner makes the gelato himself and it was really cool to hear of the awards they have won for three Coffee Gelato. I HIGHLY recommend the Coffee, the Lemoncello, and the Pistachio. They are AMAZING!!

This is the place I go to for gelato! Their gelato is the real deal. I love this place so much and the unique flavors of their gelato!
